If you’re looking to add a meaningful, personal touch to your wedding, our 'Make Your Own Wedding Ring' workshops in Margate offer couples a unique experience for you to craft the rings that will stay with you forever.
But why not add to the memorable occasion and make the day (or weekend) of it. Margate is the perfect backdrop for a romantic day out or an unforgettable weekend getaway.
Start your day in our spacious jewellery studio in the creative hub of Cliftonville, where we’ll guide you through the process of designing and making your rings – no experience needed. Afterwards, meander through the historic streets of Margate Old Town, dotted with quirky vintage shops, galleries, bookshops and independent cafés.
As the sun dips lower, head to the harbour front for oysters and prosecco at Mannings Seafood Shack, or enjoy a dip in the sea at one of Margate’s sandy beaches or Walpole Bay lido (rain or shine!)

Fancy something a little more lively? Margate has a vibrant live music scene, with gigs happening most weekends in its many intimate venues and bars. Try WhereElse, Olby’s Soul Cafe, Fez or Margate Arts Club as good starting points. Start off the evening with a cocktail in hand, our favourite is the ‘Margs-arita’ from the sea front bar Little Swift or, for panoramic views head up to the rooftop bar at No. 42 Margate. Both make perfect spots to watch the sky transform from pink to orange above the horizon – it's truly magical.
And finally, you can’t leave town without exploring the mysterious underground wonder of the Shell Grotto, tunnels adorned with millions of shells and an ambiguous origin that has kept us pondering for years as to why it came to be! Oh - and there is the always the eccentricity of the Crab Museum!
Whether you're planning a special day or making a whole weekend of it, Margate offers romance, magical times, and memories that will last a lifetime – just like your rings.
We can't wait to welcome you to our brand new seaside studio on the creative Kent coast!
